The historic and oldest park in London, located in the heart of the downtown, required rethinking to accommodate the growing number of hosted festivals and events, and to rejuvenate its tired overall appearance. Large-scale design upgrades included two entry plazas at diagonally opposite ends of the park, with one integrating the existing cenotaph. A wide meandering promenade, central to the park, connects the two plazas with new lighting and amenities.
