Located along the Thames River, the site’s steep gradient prescribed intricate terracing as the means to embrace the hillside perch and capitalize on the panoramic views. A winding driveway, bordered by sumac and juniper, leads to a formalized river birch tree line backed by a stone parapet that gestures towards the arrival court defined by stone retaining walls. The lower back lawn is a manicured plinth, framed by stone retaining walls and juniper, which provides ample space for entertaining and recreation, and spectacular overlook views of the meadow and river valley below.
