The landscape design takes its cue from the contemporary style of the residence and the site’s contextual contrasts. Sandstone pavers are utilized in both front and back, visually linking the spaces. A minimalist entry courtyard possesses a Zen garden aesthetic through the use of gravel, bamboo and a solitary pagoda dogwood. The wedge-shaped back terrace unfolds appearing to disintegrate into the landscape and connects to a dining patio that overlooks lush plantings and the river valley below.
